    1986… the year that Ferris Bueller took his day off, the Bangles taught us how to ’Walk like and Egyptian’ and career services at the U of A were established! Come celebrate with CAPS as we kick off our 25th year in true 80’s CAPS style – with music and magic, a walk down memory lane and a look to the future! It wouldn’t be a CAPS party without food, so there will also be delicious refreshments. You can leave your 80’s wear at home though - that’s something better left in that decade.     On August 2, 2011, CAPS: Your U of A Career Centre welcomed a new staff member to the fold. Silvia Moreno joins CAPS as a Programs Assistant. In this exciting role, Silvia will be providing support to students and staff involved with the new U of A Undergraduate Research Initiative (launching in September 2011), which supports the involvement of undergraduate students in research activities.
